Juan (Pito) Rivera, 63, of Hammond Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024. He was born February 27 1961, to Eligio and Enriqueta Rivera,

Married for 30 years to his beautiful and devoted wife, Yolanda Michelle Earl-Rivera. He was a wonderful and caring husband who loved his family and friends. He had a gift for making people laugh, and had a passion for sports. Loved by all who knew him, he will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eligio and Enriqueta Rivera, and his in-laws, Sunnie and Edna Louise Earl. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Earl-Rivera; his brother, Jesus (Evelyn) Rivera; his sister, Carmen Iris Rivera (Edwin) Diaz; his daughter, Jasmine Lynn Rivera; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
